I’m very excited today as I travel to Savannah, Georgia for this year’s national art therapy conference. I first flew to Atlanta and then rented a car for the 4-hour trip to Savannah. It’s a beautiful drive — flanked by lush green woods and punctuated by beautiful summer thunderstorms all along the way. Plus, it gave me a chance to polish my final thoughts for tomorrow’s presentation.
Although it’s been nearly 2 years since I was directing the Arts Program at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, we only received approval to share this data a few months ago. I hope people will benefit from it! I certainly loved what it taught me.
