Payments may be made by cash, check, or credit card (via PayPal).
Fees will be determined before the commencement of the first session, either through discussion over the phone or during your free, no-obligation consultation.
Unless we have made other arrangements, payment is due at the time of service (during or immediately after each session). Receipts and “super bills” will be issued when payment is received.
- Fee for Service (Out of Pocket)
- The most recommended form of payment, Fee for Service means that decisions related to your care and treatment planning will be made by you and me, not by a third-party reviewer.
- Details of diagnosis and progress toward your goals will be kept confidential and not reflect on any medical or insurance records.
- Family, couple, or individual therapy: $120 per 50-minute session. Reduced fees may be available for clients experiencing financial difficulties.
- Insurance
- I am an out-of-network provider for most PPO insurance plans.
- Payment in full is due at the time of service, and I will provide you with a thorough statement (sometimes called a “super bill”), detailing all of the necessary information for you to be reimbursed by your insurance company according to your policy.
- I recommend that details of reimbursement and coverage be worked out with your insurance company prior to commencement of therapy.
- Please note: YOU, not your insurance company, are responsible for payment. Please make sure you understand your policy and benefits.
- Sliding scale
- Reduced fees may be available for those clients experiencing financial difficulties.
- Please be prepared to provide a copy of the first page of your household’s tax returns from the previous 2 years in order to qualify for sliding scale.
- Please contact me for a copy of the sliding scale chart to determine your individualized fee.
